This morning I sitting in my dining room waiting for my house guests to get up. My best friend Amanda came to visit, yea! This is super special because in 4 days she leaves for a year of missionary work around the world. She got a ride from our friend Justin, and J.D. showed up too. Right now all three are asleep. Normally I would be too, but today is "clean the house" day, so I got up with a lot of energy. I sit here wondering if I should wake them up. I know that everyone has gotten at least 8 hours of sleep. But is it polite to wake up houseguests? I need them to be awake so I can start cleaning, but I'm not sure about the proper way to roust them. Should I just start cooking and hope the smell of food wakes them up? In my family, we'd just start cooking. or Should I politely knock on the bedroom door and tell them breakfast will be ready in 10 minutes? I afraid though that I'll need to set off a small explosion to get these guys out of bed. Justin is not known for being a morning person. Plus, I've been up for over an hour now, getting ready and cleaning the kitchen, taking out the trash, etc. As much as I've tried to be quiet, well, dishes make noise and so do plastic bags. *Sigh* Pretty soon, I'm going to have to start cooking because I'm hungry now.
Not only did I get guests for tonight, but two more girls might come today. Then there is the Annual Christmas Party at my house Sunday. I am hoping for a large turnout there. I really want everyone to come and have fun. Plus, yesterday me and dad shoveled the snow out of the driveway so people could hopefully get in and out. Ok, well my tummy is telling me that I'm going to cook some food and either they'll wake up or I'll eat and then start cleaning. Have a great day!

Some Random Thoughts
Tonight I tried out a new small group for 20 somethings. It was a little terrifying because I was the first one there, despite a ton of cars out front. Plus, I looked it up online so don't really know anyone. It was fun and full of people I'm hoping to get to know better. I guess they tend to average more guys than gals, so I kinda help even out the score. We talked about Matthew 18 and I found myself missing my friend Daniel, because of all his deep historical knoweldge, it was just weird because I'm so used to coming at God's word for a different point of view. The guy that was leading, Eric, has a surfer dude style of talking, he actually used "rocked my world" in a sentence. It was cool though and I totally be going again. Plus they all tend to go to the same church service, so I might see people I know at church. I'm a little sad though that I only get every other Monday off this next month, because I'd like to go every week. Good news, at work they are trying harder to give me every other weekend off. It'll be next to get to plan on time off instead of always having time off up in the air. Oh well, the life of a pharmacist :)
Sometimes it amazes me that school is all done, and I'm an adult. I keep having dreams where I find out it's the day of the Final and I haven't gone to class all semester, but still need to take the hecka hard Final, and then get lost trying to find the classroom. I guess it's all part of school withdrawal. :) Well, I have to work in Milton tomorrow so I guess I should try and sleep. Although I think I've had a little too much caffeine today so I'm not sure about the sleeping thing.

Well, I figured out how to get more pictures, so here is a virtual tour of my house. These pictures were taken right after the housewarming party so it's a little messy still. We start be coming thru the garage. (The main door leads into the main living room and is 1/2 a flight a stairs from either this downstairs portion or the bedrooms upstairs)
We begin our tour in the Downstairs TV room

Guest Bathroom (shower/tub not in picture)
My master shower (tiled)
Master bedroom/ closet- mostly unpacked
and finally the Office Not pictured was the guest bedroom, that is lavendar colored, and not easy to photograph. Ok hope you enjoyed a glimpse of my house:)

Life keeps moving...

I can't believe it's mid-November already. Before long it will be Thanksgiving and Christmas. Work has been busy lately, and even harder since I came down with the local bug/ bronchitis. Thankfully the antibiotic seems to have done it's job so I'm almost back to full energy. It is really hard to deal with demanding and rude people when you are sick. Because well my house is my hobby, I intended to post more pictures, but well, I don't seem to be able to do it the way I want. So you get two, and live tours are available by appointment :)
This is my first piece of art, and in the dining room :)

It's all Mine (well, at least the House is)
So, the house officially closed yesterday! I haven't even seen it yet, since I get home at like 10 pm and am too exhausted to drive across town and see it. I'm really blessed since my family moved most of my stuff over today while I was at work. :) I guess that just leaves me to do the un-packing. Well, it'll have to wait till Sunday after church, since I'm working again tomorrow. Well, off to bed soon, just thought I'd update.

THE house
I found a house. Ok so I did more than find a house. I'm over half way thru buying a house. It's an amazing blessing and a gorgeous house. It's a three bedroom, tri level home right off Anderson Hill Rd, in the Twelve Oaks development. I'm pretty excited but have been keeping it mostly to myself since I wasn't sure if it would go through. I am now just waiting for one more inspection and then the closing is on Sep 4th. I thought I'd let some friends know now that it's almost all put together. I'm hoping to put together a big open house/ house warming for October 18th. I'll keep you up to date on the details for the party. Just in case I'm off Monday and Wednesday this week and would love to see y'all if you are available. later :)

days off are great
I looked at three more places today, but everything keeps striking out. My parents think I should look at about a dozen places before I decide, but the second place I looked at is so nice, it's hard to keep looking when you find a place you like. Plus, when you want to move out again, it takes time to look and look and look. Oh well, this just gives me time to take care of chores I've been avoiding like cleaning the guest room, and sorting my stuff that's been stored since high school.
Yesterday was my first solo day as a pharmacist. I do love my job! I had fun, although it was a little stressful, and I really wished I'd had an earlier lunch because waiting until the end of the rush was just too long, and I was really hungry. The only downside is I was so full of adrenaline that it was hard to go to sleep, and it will take some getting used to before I'll be able to comfortably do back to back long days. well, off to donate some old clothes and get lunch!
Ciao!

Europe Pictures
Of the hundreds of pictures we took on the family trip to Europe, I still only have a few pictures on my computer. They are the ones with me in them that might work with profile pictures. I apologize for the shorts and tennis shoe look, it was hot out and I didn't care how I looked at the time. Well, here they are:

The ladies at one of Mad King Ludwig's castle

Windmills are everywhere in the German countryside and I was the one who got out of the car to get pictures :)

Grandma, The Night Watchman, and me

Me at Burg Eltz

Neuschwanstein Castle's Courtyard

Me at the WWII display in Belgium

Me at the Deutsches Museum's Pharmacy Display

Hi! So I found out that I passed both of my pharmacy licensing tests and am now officially a licensed pharmacist. YEA! I'm telling everyone and am truly celebrating. I didn't feel I could celebrate graduating until I passed the two biggest tests of my adult life. so, that's an update on me, have a great weekend!
